• The charges mentioned are for analysis of samples received from users within India only.
• For overseas users, please contact CIF In-Charge by Email directly.
• Charges are subject to change periodically.
• In the event the DD amount/payment received is more than the actual analyses charges incurred, it will NOT be possible to refund the excess amount paid. However, the excess amount may be adjusted against future analyses by the same user or another user from the same organization following a written request by Email or hard copy. The excess amount adjustment should be utilized before 31st March, the financial year ends.
• If instrument run time is more than 30 minutes for single sample analysis then hourly basis charges will be applicable.
• For external users, @ 18.00 % GST or above (as per the prevailing norms) will be applicable in the above rate list.
• Please add courier and CD charges of INR 100 (conditions applied).

Mode of Payment

Please note, our current policy requires analysis that payment be received before the samples can be registered and analysis taken up. Please make sure that the payment is received along with the samples. Payments are to be made by either demand draft (DD) or online through SBI collect.

Procedure for Availing Facility

The instruments are available to all the students, research scholars and faculty members of the university and affiliated institutions and also other educational institutions, research labs and industry on chargeable basis as mentioned in the table below. The users are to submit the requisition forms with the samples. Outstation users may contact the centre by e-mail to reserve time slot for their use and visit with the samples on the date of appointment.

How to submit the samples ?

The samples should be submitted in the prescribed format indicating the information called for as well as your special requirement, if any. If you are sending them by mail, please enclose the payment details along with the samples and address the same to:

Only on receipt of the payment along with the samples, they will be registered for analysis and taken up for measurement as per the seniority/queue of the users of the instrument concerned. As soon as the analysis is over, the spectra along with the receipt / bill will be sent to the users. While submitting samples for more than one analysis separate samples are to be sent for each.

Please note

• Specific columns must be provided by user if required.
• Sample requisition form for each instrument is available in the form of annexure.
• All samples should be purified before sending for analysis. No clean-up will be done at CIF (CUSB). All users are required to acknowledge the use of CIF equipment/ CIF facilities in all their research publications/ articles resulting from the use of CIF (CUSB).
• A copy of such publication must be submitted to CIF for reference and record.
