Vigilance Awareness Week organized in CUSB with Integrity Pledge during October 30 – November 05, 2023

As per the directions of the Central Vigilance Commission, Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2023 from 30 October to 5 November 2023 on the theme “Resist Corruption: Be Dedicated to the Nation”. Keeping in mind the theme of Central Vigilance Commission, Vice Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh took the pledge of corruption free India and called for contributing in making India developed.

The Vigilance Awareness Week in CUSB started on Monday (30 October 2023) with the taking of the oath of integrity by the professors, officers and employees of the university. In the administrative building of the university, under the leadership of Registrar Col. Rajeev Kumar Singh, Finance Officer Mrs. Rashmi Tripathi, Librarian Dr. Pramod Kumar Singh, Deputy Registrar Mr. Pratish Kumar Das and Mr. Kumar Kaushal, Assistant Registrar Mr. Shashi Ranjan etc. along with other employees took the pledge of integrity. Along with the administrative building, the oath taking program was organized under the leadership of Prof. Ravikant in Malviya Bhawan, Prof. Venkatesh Singh in Aryabhatta Bhawan and Prof. Brajesh Kumar in Chanakya Bhawan.

Under the supervision of Deputy Registrar Mr. Pratish Kumar Das, many programs were organized for professors, officers, employees and students in the university. During the Awareness Week, an essay competition and debate competition were organized on the theme “Resist corruption, be dedicated to the nation” in which faculty, officers, staff and students participated enthusiastically. The jury of the debate competition included Prof. Venkatesh Singh (Head of Department, Department of Physics), Prof. Brajesh Kumar (Dean School of Commerce and Business Studies) and Prof. Ravi Kant (Dean School of Education). In the essay competition, the first prize went to Ms. Ankita Kumari (student, M.Com. first semester) while the second prize was given to Mohd. Mudassir Alam (Public Relations Officer), third prize was won by Mr. Chhotalal Sah (Private Secretary) and consolation prize was won by Mr. Dhanji Prasad. In the debate competition personnel category, first prize went to Mrs. Renu (Assistant Professor), second prize to Mohd. Mudassir Alam (Public Relations Officer), second prize went to Mr. Anil Kumar (Assistant), third prize went to Mr. Vikas Kumar (Assistant). In the student category, Ms. Sadhna Parasar got the first prize, Mr. Yashasvi Kumar got the second prize, Ms. Amrita Kumari Mishra got the third prize and Mr. Aditya Raj Gautam got the consolation prize. The winners of the essay and debate competitions will be awarded certificates and prizes in a special function.
