A one day National Seminar was organized on the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day under the joint aegis of School of Law and Governance (SLG) and Research and Development Cell (RND, CUSB), Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) on April 26, 2023. Many speakers presented their views in the seminar organized under the patronage of CUSB Vice Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh on the topic “Copyright Protection in Emerging Technologies: Challenges and Solutions”.
As the keynote speaker, Dr.G. S. Raghavendra, former Joint Secretary, Government of India, while emphasizing on the aspect of idea-expression, said that there are immense possibilities of research after the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, as well as challenges of multiple plagiarism. The guest speaker Prof. Preeti Saxena said that Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology copies human thoughts and AI cannot be ignored in the coming times.
In addition, Prof. Raman Mittal (University of Delhi), Prof. Durg Vijay Singh (Director, RND, CUSB), Dr. Rajneesh Singh (BHU Varanasi), Dr. Poonam Das (Delhi University), Dr. Ashwini Shival (Delhi University), Mr. Kumar Gaurav (CNLU, Patna), Sugandha Sinha ( CNLU, Patna) contributed in various technical sessions.
Giving the welcome speech of the seminar, Prof. Sanjay Prakash Srivastava (Dean & Head SLG) pointed out on Blockchain, Metaverse and their challenges. The outline of the program was presented by the organizing secretary, Prof. Ashok Kumar who thanked NIPAM for providing assistance to the seminar. The special guest of the workshop was Prof. Brijesh Kumar (Finance Officer, CUSB) also presented his views on the subject.
More than 50 speakers presented their research in the symposium organized in hybrid mode. The offline program was coordinated by Mr. Mani Pratap (Joint Secretary) while the online technical session was coordinated by Dr. Digvijay Singh (Joint Secretary). On this occasion, Dr. Pradeep Das, Dr. Surendra Kumar, Mrs. Poonam Kumari, Dr. Deo Narayan Singh, Dr. Pallavi Singh, Dr. Anant Prakash Narayan, Dr. Kumari Neetu, Dr. Anurag Agarwal, Dr. Neha Shukla, Dr. Anuja Mishra, Chandna Suba, Karnika, Sadhna Parashar, Nikhil and Satyam etc. were present. At the end of the programme, Shri Mani Pratap presented a formal vote of thanks.
