M.Sc. (Environment and Ecology) from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences.

Specialization (not more than FIVE) : Agriculture and Food Security, Labour and Employment, Housing Studies, Environment and Development

EXPERIENCE :
I pursued Doctorate in Economics from Govind Ballabh Pant Social Science Institute, University of Allahabad, Allahabad. I was an ICSSR Doctoral Research Fellow. I have more than 16 years of experience in research and teaching as of now. I am presently working as an Assistant Professor (Senior Scale) in the Department of Development Studies, School of Social Sciences and Policy. I joined Central University of South Bihar in 2013.  Prior to joining this institute, I have served Indian Institute of Dalit Studies, New Delhi (IIDS) for six years on various positions. I also served Council for Social Development, New Delhi for two years. Hence, my initial work experience was more into research, working on different projects funded by government agencies, foreign universities and other sponsoring bodies. Now I have been associated with both teaching and research in Central University of South Bihar. I have supervised Ph.D., M. Phil and Master Dissertations on different issues such as solid waste management, bio-medical waste management, labour issues and agriculture development. My teaching expertise revolves around four papers a). Agriculture and Food Security b). Globalisation and Labour issues c). Research Methodology and Data Analysis d). Human Development.
