Debate competition organized by Pro Bono Club of CUSB on the occasion of National Girl Child Day, January 24, 2024

On the occasion of National Girl Child Day, a debate competition was organized by the Pro Bono Club, functioning under the School of Law and Governance (SLG) of Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) on January 24, 2024. The competition was organized under the patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof. Kameshwar Nath Singh under the leadership of Pro Bono Club’s Nodal Officer Dr. Deo Narayan Singh.

 

The students participating in the debate discussed the issues of prosperity, education, and equality in the society. Special attention was focused on the importance of girls’ rights and girls’ right to education. Along with their aspirations for prosperity, students also reflected on the need to improve access to education for girls. The participants considered the means of social research and empowerment to maintain equality in the society. The students also told that girls should have the right to higher status and freedom in the society, and for this it is necessary to take steps in the right direction for prosperity, education, and equality in the society.

 

Pro Bono Club member students Mamtesh, Muskaan, Manvi, Nimmi, Mini, Gautam, Anjali, Noor Iqbal, Vaishnavi, Rupa, Karan and Lokeshwari played an important role in organizing the competition. The competition was evaluated by Dr. Rachna Vishwakarma, Asst. Prof. Department of Commerce and Dr. Deo Narayan Singh as judges.
