EXPERIENCE : With an undergraduate training (B.A) in Sociology (Honors) and Geography from 2000-03 at Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, India, I pursued a postgraduate (MA) degree in Sociology at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, India from 2003-05 and then worked for four years (2005-09) in the different grassroots level Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) in diverse verticals like the Disabilities sector, Primary Education, Local Urban Governance, and Micro Finance. Thereafter, he spent a couple of years (2009-11) at IIT Kanpur on a research project dealing with local urban governance in Delhi and was trained in Urban Geography as a Visiting Commonwealth Scholar from 2011-12 at University College London (UCL), UK. Since 2012, I have been working as an Assistant Professor at the Central University of South Bihar, Gaya, from where I went on a study leave (2016-19) to pursue a Ph.D. from the university of Aberdeen, UK.
