Specialization (not more than FIVE) : Public Policy and Governance, Political Ecology & Natural Resource Management,  Tribal/ Dalit Studies , Renewable Energy, Rural Development.

EXPERIENCE : (Teaching / Research) Experience: With a Master’s degree in Political Science from Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, I went to Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay to pursue M.Phil in Planning and Development and later completed my Ph.D from Humanities & Social Sciences, IIT, Bombay. During Ph.D I spent a year as a Commonwealth Split-Site Scholar in the Department of Development Studies, School of Oriental and African Studies
(SOAS), London.

After completion of M.Phil,  I worked as Research Assistant  for a month in Mumbai in an ethnographic fieldwork conducted by Pacific Ethnography Company, California, US. Afterwards, I worked as a Consultant for a small project on Water supply and sanitation programme with SaciWaters, Hyderabad and later continued working with Saciwaters as a Research Associate on the reader on Civil Society and Governance (published by Routledge). Thereafter, I worked as Research Assistant at National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD), Hyderabad. Since 2011 onwards I am working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Development Studies.
