Shri Tiwari shared valuable insights into the art of drafting pleadings and judgments, stressing the importance of focusing on admitted and disputed facts during trials. He encouraged students to read at least two paragraphs of Supreme Court judgments daily to enrich their legal knowledge.
Mr. James Mukkattukavunkal, the resource person, emphasized the importance of presenting statements in a positive perspective rather than a negative one. He illustrated this point with a simple question posed to the participants at the beginning of the session: “Is the class half-awake or half-asleep?” Mr. James emphasized the need for simplicity, brevity, sweetness, and, most importantly, logic when making statements.
